Geography
The Dominican Republic shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti and is the second largest country in the Caribbean. The Dominican Republic has fertile valleys, rugged mountain ranges and plains. The very large mountain range in the Dominican Republic is the Cordillera Mountain range. The highest mountain inside of it is Pico Duarte. The climate is a very tropical climate, they have a wet and a dry season. During the dry season it averages 81 degrees fahrenheit. In the wet season it averages 75 degrees fahrenheit.
